Chico Testimony Psalms 1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. AMEN. HI, My name is Norman Santiago and my nick name is Chico. I am the old man on the wanted Poster on the front of this paper. I have been locked up for about 37 years. I came into prison in 1969. I have come to realize that its not about me; But about GOD. The question (?) I want to know is: How can I be saved? 1. Romans 3:10 - There is NONE RIGHTEOUS, no not one. 2. John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that He GAVE his only begotten son. That WHOSOVER BELIEVETH in Him should not perish (or go to eternal death) but have everlasting life. 3. Ephesians 2:8-9 - For by GRACE ARE YE SAVED through FAITH and that not of yourselves: IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD: NO OF WORKS, lest any man should boast. 4. Romans 10:9, 13 - That if thou shalt CONFESS with thy MOUTH the LORD JESUS and shall BELIEVE in thine heart that GOd hath raised him from the dead, THOU SHALT BE SAVED... For WHOSOVER shall call upon the name of the Lord SHALL BE SAVED. To be saved, God says you must do three (3) things: 1. REPENT of your sins - Be willing to turn away from your sins. 2. CONFESS JESUS - To acknowledge or agree with the Bible and what is says about Jesus and that is, He was raised from the dead. 3. Believe - Ask candidate can he believe Jesus was raised from the dead? God promises if you can do that, you shall be SAVED. Dear God: I come to you, recognizing that I am a sinner in need, acknowledging Jesus Christ as my Lord. I now turn to Jesus and trust Him with my life. I believe that He was raise from the dead and now lives. I receive Him as my Lord and Savior. Thank you, Father, for forgiving me of all my sins. Come into my heart; make me the person you want me to be. I am now your child. If I died tonight, Heaven would be my home. In Jesus' Name, Amen. |
