Every
Man's Privilege
by: Kip Coffman
The original oracles given to the Jews
To give mankind the Good News
That God has dealt with sin and death
So man in bondage can draw new breth
Thus sullen people caught in sin
May believe and a new life begin.
Missionaries come from far and wide
And do in patience freely abide
While transferring God's Word to speak
The language of the people they seek
Avoiding the compound mentality
Hoping to open cultural reality.
The work is weighty not burdensome
Which may be open to debate/
Feeding men's hearts food for the soul
Excites the need to relate.
Eternity resides in hearts to bless
A niche in culture for His Word's access.
Keep His message clear and concise
any human spice.
Ever checking your moral compass
Like anyone in a foreign land.
Stay in touch with the Master
Keep a tight grip on His hand.
There may be disappointment too
For there will be some who reject you
But they fail to understand their plight
For they love the darkness of the night
Freedom from sin and death is our call
Potentially it could come to all,
But all won't come even tho' He died;
They'll spend eternity with their pride.
It's time to rise and take your place
Among those standing on the Rock?
And regret not the shadowed face
Of the stopping of the clock.
For all you spend working years to see
WIll be revealed by Him in eternity...
