Norman’s
Testimony
I’m writing a story about a man who did not know how to read
and to write when he came to prison. I learned from the faith pod
how to read the Bible when I came to prison. I asked God to help
me to read, and God sent His helpers to teach me His words.
Good morning to You Father God in Heaven for this beautiful morning You give
to me to learn how to read and write and to open the doors for me to learn and
to help me with God’s beautiful words from the Bible and have faith in
me.
The Lord is ready to help all those who call out to Him. He helps those who really
mean it when they call out to Him. I know I call out to God everyday and night,
and He answered my calls.
I thank You heavenly Father for opening the gates of the temple for me to share
Your words with the children of the earth.
My children you may not know me, but I know everything about you. In Psalm 139:1-6 “Lord,
You have seen what is in my heart, You know all about me. You know when I sit
down and when I get up. You know what I’m thinking even though You are
far away. You know when I go to work and when I speak a word. You know all about
it. You are all around me. You are behind me and in front of me. You hold me
in Your power.”
I’m amazed at how well You know me…It’s more that I can understand
and to share God’s beautiful words to the world. Lord, help me always to
tell the truth about how faithful you are. I have put my hope in Your laws.
I will always obey your law, for ever and ever. Teach me to live as you command
because that makes me very happy to hear God’s beautiful words from heaven.
Amen.

Note: Norman is in his 60’s and only recently
learned to read and write, mostly through God’s Word.
I have never seen Norman go a
day without his infectious smile of joy!
